Indiana Day is celebrated on November 16 in the United States to honor the spirit of the people living in Indiana, the 38th largest entity and the 17th largest in terms of population. The holiday was founded by the Indiana General Assembly in 1925 and is still celebrated with pleasure today.

History

Indiana Day was founded by the Indiana General Assembly in 1925 and locals celebrate it with pleasure to this day. Initially, settlers came to these lands and fought with local Indians until 1811, when the battle was won and the state entered the Union on December 11, 1816. Today Indiana is a developed cultural center, with a range of amenities and a high-quality infrastructure consisting of highways, railways, and seaports.
