Let It Go Day

Let It Go Day is extremely beneficial from a psychological point of view! What does not allow us to move forward, grow, develop, and change the circumstances of our lives? We forget about this wise thought: Let It Go. We drag with us into the present the burden of past failures, resentments, and disappointments. This is a tremendous weight on your shoulders, pushing you down to the ground and not allowing you to see the stars!

History

Thomas and Ruth Roy of Wellcat Holidays & Herbs came up with this wise holiday to help people buried under the weight of past misfortunes. They registered this National Day to motivate us to ‘let go’ of old traumatic situations, to stop worrying, and to forgive ourselves for our failures. Even if you crashed your car today, had an argument with your father, or quarreled with a partner, and you want to hang a ‘I’m a loser’ sign around your neck, remember this phrase: Let It Go. Apologize if you offended family or friends. And you will see: life brightens again!

Interesting facts

Let It Go is sung in the animated film Frozen by singer and actress Demi Lovato. The song hints at the fate of the main character Elsa: unable to control her magical abilities, the girl almost killed her own sister and is forced to live in complete solitude for a long time, in isolation from other people. The girl will have to cope with terrible circumstances and improve relations with her sister. But she doesn’t give up.

How to take part

Celebrate Let It Go Day to return to psychological comfort.

  1. Make a list of things from the past that are keeping you from feeling peaceful and happy. Burn this list!
  2. Do what makes you happier. Hang out with family or friends, play with your kids, buy new clothes, replant flowers, paint a picture – as long as it is fun.
  3. Get rid of junk – organize a garage sale. Imagine that you are clearing your life of the past.
