On the same day, he prepared a beautiful dish, which later became one of the most famous in the country.

According to another version, real gods looked into the bar. They were Venus and Jupiter. The unearthly beauty of the woman so impressed the cook that he decided to create a dish for her. The couple stayed in the room for the whole night. The discouraged cook spied on them, but couldn’t see anything but the navel. His feelings remained misunderstood, they had to be hidden.

In its shape, tortellini really resemble a navel. They are prepared using dough, finely chopped minced meat and seasonings. This is the traditional recipe, but after a few years, cooks began to experiment. They added greens, cheese and vegetables. Especially popular was the dish with Brussels sprouts.
