Provider Appreciation Day

Provider Appreciation Day is an American holiday dedicated to child care professionals. This can include all professional employees of educational institutions of preschool and elementary school education, as well as educators who can be hired individually for their child. The holiday is celebrated annually on the second Friday in May.

History

Historically, it was always the parents who took care of the children. They passed on their knowledge and skills. They watched the child gradually grow and develop.
